Since I have pastored here at First Baptist, we have covered three Old Testament books (Genesis, Jonah, and Habakkuk) and two New Testament Books (Colossians and Philippians). In our New Testament studies, we have not yet gone through one of the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John). So I am excited to finally do that in The Gospel According to Mark in a series called, Good News in Roman Style.
I won't give a formal introduction to Mark in the first sermon. If you would like to get a brief overview, go to my blog to listen or read one. I also have a bibliography there for deeper study for those who are interested.
